Make An Appointment?

Appointments can be made by calling 0844 477 2552 (press option 2 then option 1 for an emergency or 2 for a routine appointment) or in person at the reception desk. Appointments are available from 9.00am and as late as 5.30pm.

The normal appointment is 10 minutes long. Please try not to save up medical complaints for one visit to the doctor - this can be confusing. Please make a separate appointment for each patient to be seen and discussed. If you cannot keep your appointment, please let us know so that the time can be used by another patient.

When making an appointment you will normally be offered the first available appointment with the doctor of your choice. If you feel your problem requires more urgent attention and you need to see a doctor urgently that day, please inform the receptionist. All requests to be seen that day are triaged and either a nurse or doctor will call you back to discuss your problem. An urgent appointment may not be with your normal doctor. If no appointments are available, the receptionist may have to discuss your problem with a health care professional.

Obtain A Home Visit?

If you are too unwell to attend the health centre or are housebound, a home visit can be arranged by phoning the health centre (0844 477 2552 option 3). Except in true medical emergencies, please request home visits before 10.30am. If possible, please come to the health centre. We are able to see more patients with better facilities there.

Obtain Test Results?

Results of laboratory tests can be obtained by telephone after 2.00pm on weekdays. For reasons of confidentiality, these results will only be divulged to the patient or parents of patients under 16 years. Phone 0844 477 2552 and press option 5.
